Why a sidebar layout
A short paragraph explaining the choice: navigation stays in one place, the content column stays narrow and readable, and every page shares the same frame. The sidebar collapses to icons on desktop and becomes a sheet on mobile.
The stack
- Astro for static output and zero-JS-by-default pages
- React islands for the interactive shell — sidebar, theme toggle, motion
- Tailwind CSS v4 with a small set of custom tokens
What’s next
Another short paragraph. Maybe a list of things you plan to add: more writing, real project write-ups, an RSS feed. This section exists so the post has enough body to test typography and spacing.
